A friend of mine who immigrated here about 2 decades ago from China was telling me that over there, they have such strong control of the masses due to "preservation" that you can't even go to a river, lake, or stream, and fish. I asked him who is allowed to fish then? He laughed and said the rich and the elite. It's all rules for thee but not for me with the aristocratic side of society
Never saw the original “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” Sounds like an add to my “must watch” list! Thanks for the insightful read. It is crazy to think any of the government bogus entities care about any of us below their level; astounding to realize the general population thinks that they have our best interest at heart.
THEY have always wanted to control us unconditionally. The Book, Church, Priests and the Enslavement of Women through Religion had enabled the unconditional control of the masses. As this method of control waned THEY began implementing THERE new methods of obtaining unconditional control over the masses. THERE new methods of control begin before birth and expands to a grand illusion that prevents us from connecting too our Soul. Thus preventing us from being our true self.
Excellent question Todd. No idea actually where representative Gruberment came from. The Why is probably easier to understand. Illusion Deception Lies upon Lies.
I have always known that there is pure undiluted Evil in the world, mainly due to my mother's malevolence towards me - I was the youngest of three children "a mistake", a fact I was daily reminded of in various ways ... so I called her behaviour evil. I have never thought highly of politicians though, especially as a woman, I have always felt obliged to vote. No more. The silver lining of the covid debacle is that whatever scales I might have had in my eyes have fallen. Our governments (most definitely America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the EU) acted/continue to act with mal-intent + all political parties are non defunct; whoever is in power is merely the policy enforcer of the policy makers of the Global Public Private Partnership (e.g., BIS, central banks, WEF, etc.) - see Iain Davis Global Pyramid of Power https://iaindavis.com/what-is-the-global-public-private-partnership. While my head understands the behaviour of the masses - (Mass Formation put forward by Mattias Desmet so eloquently and/or cognitive dissonance) - my heart doesn't.
I am sorry to hear about your mother. I see this sort of abuse day in and day out in my practice. Jung called this the acting out of the oppressed shadow. All humans are capable of extreme mind-numbing cruelty. There must be something in place to integrate that evil so it does not act out. Religion used to at least cause some of it to become conscious, thus integrated, as people could project their evil shadow onto the devil. But people no longer believe in such things...
Interestingly both my parents (my father, a gentleman, was bullied into silence) were avid church goers, but I don't think my mother had the intelligence to look matters/life squarely in the face or maybe she was in denial; a priest in her church went to gaol for child abuse, but she was sure it was "a once-off" and he was "a lovely man". I tried to have many a conversation with her in adulthood, but according to her she was "perfect" and I was insubordinate and irresponsible, therefore, there was nothing to discuss!!!
I think there is a different type of abuse today within families... parents shielding their children from everything, from LIFE itself in all its majesty and adversty ... in the name of love. I never thought I would see the day when I would say, "I am thankful for my upbringing". At age 80, I am one tough cookie and have appreciated (still do) life with all its trials and tribulations, but always tending to bask in the beauty and wonder of the Universe and Nature... let's take courage and smile in the face of adversity 😊
Many thanks for your support Allan 🙂 ... seeing as we are both following Todd, we are definitely doing something right ✅ In the Road Less Travelled, Scott Peck says 'Life is difficult, but as soon as we realise this, it gets easier'; in this regard, I find Todd's writings and (dare I call it) this community invaluable... keep smiling ☺
If a person can integrate and "process" their own experience of abuse, there is a positive side to it. Many do not, and then take it out on their children. Today, you are correct, most of the projection from parents is not physically, emotionally, or verbally as abusive as in past generations. Now it takes the form of "fear avoidance"...topic needs more detail to discuss so I will stop there!
Doesn't everyone on here feel like Donald Sutherland in the Bodysnatchers Invasion - in our case the rest of humanity has been brainwashed into acceptance and we are fighting lone, rearguard actions to escape the evil. How, how, how do the masses not see it? How can they still think that Big Brother loves them? WHY do they think that BB loves them? On what evidence?
The poorest families in the UK have 57% of their income taken in direct and indirect taxation; they have the police knocking on their door for thought crimes - which includes silent prayer ("hate speech"); they have cameras watching their every move (at the supermarket self-service checkout this morning, sign says camera is for "your safety" without bothering to explain how that camera keeps you 'safer' at a supermarket checkout, and or even asking if you want to be 'kept safe'; they struggle to pay bills - artificially inflated by government money printing, bloated public sector wages (more than half of the population are non-productive) and subsidies for 'green' energy; pretty much everyone is waiting for a GP appointment or hospital treatment (the latter for years usually). This is the government's love language?
But the sheep suck it up and pathetically trot along to the voting booth once every five years, having been brainwashed into believing that this is 'democracy' and thinking 'it will be better next time' as if a change of the names in the government makes the slightest difference.
Watch the original "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" movie (1956), not the more recent ('78) with Sutherland. Although that one does have good points from a different perspective, the older version is more chilling and more true to the book. (at least to me!)
I’m so sorry. I hate it when people have to face reality and it’s still new enough to be painful. There’s only so much you can do, because when people don’t want to see something they won’t.
My younger daughter was shy from birth (maybe it was the Tylenol?!?) Anyway, as a new infant, if someone got in her face to make eye contact she turned her eyes, and if they pursued it she closed her eyes. Amazing to see. Concerning, but amazing.
That’s how people are now about the dangers surrounding them. Dangers from “the powers that be” whoever they are. The ones trying to control mankind so they don’t have to live their lives not knowing what’s going to happen next.
So, when reality gets in your face and tries to make eye-contact, close your eyes. And hum. Humming helps too…
There are often deeper meanings to those sorts of things...energies from other times, or other places...your daughter may have connection with those energies...
Great piece that nails it. The disconnection between their professed concern about climate and their action is exactly what we saw in the actions of Newsom, Whitmer, Pelosi, Feinstein and the rest, disregarding COVID rules they pushed on the gullible public. They knew it was BS. I was, however, surprised to see you wrote
"Maybe I am just naive, and a bit stupid, in insisting that every human being can be in touch with his soul if he or she makes the effort."
I assumed that to see things as clearly as you do you'd need an understanding of psychopathy. Because of its prevalence and characteristics, there are PLENTY of humans who don't have a soul worthy of the name. They're incapable of getting in touch with a shred of empathy, and will never try. Martha Stout and Robert Hare, among others, have some excellent books on it. Hervey Cleckley's "Mask of Sanity" kicked off our formal understanding of it, and is worth a look, free PDF online. Fascinating and essential reading.
And why are you surprised that I said I might be naive to think people have access to their soul with little effort when you then say "They're incapable of getting in touch with a shred of empathy, and will never try"...??😆😆😆😆
It opened the entire 485 page PDF in both Chrome and Edge. Depending on your browser and config, you never know, but Chrome had a download button, and I downloaded the PDF to my PC, no problem. Let me know if any problem for you, I'm sure you can make it work. On a mobile device YMMV, should be doable though.
Why am I surprised? That's why I said
"I assumed that to see things as clearly as you do you'd need an understanding of psychopathy"
1) If you understand psychopathy, you would not think everyone can be in touch with their soul, as "normals" think of a soul. In the jargon of psychopathy - "Normals" simply means non-psychopaths. Psychopaths are often described as "having no soul", which is not a bad description.
2) I have thought it's impossible to understand how the world works without a solid understanding of psychopathy. Yet it's clear you have a very good understanding of how the world works, yet your statement indicated you don't have knowledge of the prevalence of psychopathy, how it manifests, and just as importantly - how normals react to psychopaths. So, I learned something! I'm pretty sure a dive into psychopathy will we worthwhile, to say the least. It explains a LOT.
Re "never trying", psychopaths think they're fine, normals are weak and pathetic. They are not remotely interesting in changing.
Cleckley's book is the first I read. I'm not sure it's the best place to start, most would probably say it's not, but it worked fine for me. I've been pretty close to several psychopaths (as I see them anyway) - such experience is very helpful in understanding the phenomenon.
Keep in mind researchers focus on criminal and institutionalized psychopaths. High-functioning psychopaths (who wreck the world) aren't available for them to study so easily.
Martha Stout's The Sociopath Next Door is a good starting point.
Since I hold a doctorate in archetypal psychotherapy I have had my fill of studying psychopathology! Although always anxious for more knowledge! Of course it is difficult in one word to describe the complete scope of the "condition". As I am sure you know, it is quite complex...and to use the word "normal" to describe someone who is NOT psychopathic is a huge discussion as well. :-)
In depth psychology, which is where most of my insight comes from, we say that most problems (psychopathy) come from not being fully conscious. We realize that due to the myriad of experiences human beings have starting at birth, there are systems that are developed in order to cope with those experiences (particularly the traumatic ones) that are shoved into the unconscious and operate there causing particular behaviour (psychopathological behaviour). The theory we go on in treatment is that the psyche is very good at self regulating if it can access the thing needed to regulate. Since that "thing" is typically in the unconscious, then the therapy consists of interventions that allow access to the unconscious.
A simplistic explanation, but it will have to suffice.
Everyone has an unconscious (there is even a collective unconscious, with collective neuroses (complexes)) and everyone has trauma in their life (or past life). Therefore everyone carries psychopathy...just in some it is more dangerous, more troublesome, more annoying, more debilitating, more limiting, than in others.
Sorry, I forgot you were a professional in the field! In reading about psychopathy, I often see the term "normal" used as shorthand for "non-psychopath". I didn't mean to imply that non-psychopaths are necessarily normal in the word's common usage. Far from it!
I've read repeatedly that true psychopathy is completely untreatable. Behavior can change, fooling the therapist, especially since psychopaths are so good at manipulative behavior and smart ones act however they wish. If they want to appear receptive to treatment, they can do that. Personally, I can't say, but that makes sense to me intuitively, and based on experience dealing with some. Sounds like you have real-world experience that makes you think otherwise? If so, that would sure be nice.
I agree it exists on a spectrum. I'm sure you're familiar with Hare's checklist. Not that it's possible to accurately measure it, but his yardstick was the best we had last I checked, which has been a while.
True, full psychopaths ("essential" psychopathy) are often born that way, physical brain injury can also cause it, according to some. I have read psychopaths' brains show physical, measurable differences from normal. Fascinating subject, and like psychology generally, a bit hazy and subjective, while at the same time vitally important, IMO.
"Political Ponerology" is worth a look for sure, especially for someone with your background. Not easy reading, but worth it. Stout is great for laymen, not the best use of your time IMO.
Yep... We are pests, insects... Time to reach for the can of RAID and spray it down the hole.... (sound familiar?)
Unfortunately, too many still believe voting will turn it all around. Politics is like a sponge, soaking up all the energy that could be directed toward establishing real change..
Government don't ask, they threaten, they mandate, they implement sanctions... If that doesn't work they bomb. Governments only understand force. You don't see too much diplomacy anymore
If we want to turn this around it will take not only renewed diplomacy and a new political face, but a strong element of what governments seem to only understand
Yeah, which article was that where I talked about Raid?? Not too long ago...I am rather repetitive...there are just so many ways to say the same thing!!
Voting is nonsense. I do think there is often a "lesser of two evils" thought, which means, say, a Trump, or an RFK Jr, is better than a Biden. But unless someone in the upper echelon messes up, no one will ever get elected that isn't the choice of the agenda...however, I do not think they are infallible, things DO slip through the cracks sometimes. I honestly do not think Trump was supposed to win the term he won...that mucked up the game a bit.
And I AM beginning to wonder if the vaccine thing did not go according to plan...who knows...
Bingo. As soon as I truly, deeply realized the fact that TPTB don't care and actually mean us harm was the day all the craziness made sense... a sick psychopathic sense, but sense nonetheless.
PM Blackface's policies make no sense until one looks at them with the purpose of ruining our country and stomping on it's citizens. His contempt for the common Canadian is palpable every time he opens his mealy mouth. And now he and his enabler Sellout Singh are trying to change electoral rules prior to the next election which they justifiably should lose in an avalanche.
They hate us, despise us and don't give a rat's ass about us. Rip that bandage off and accept the fact there are NO HEROES. We must ALL stand up for ourselves in whatever way we can and say NO MORE.
It is interesting you would say that about making sense...I have found every level down into the rabbit hole answers the blaring questions the level above created. It doesn't make sense until you descend further and further down the hole, and then it gets weirder and weirder, but the questions are answered...quite scary...
You are a voice of one crying in the wilderness. And you will be ignored by the majority - just like all the others who have gone before you. The simple truism of "pay attention to what they do, not what they say" is lost on most people.
Nailed it! Why do people not see the glaring hypocrisy? Or do they believe these wind bags and Woke Communist talking heads somehow deserve to live differently/better than the rest of us due to their “royal or self-appointed” status? The sheep all tune in or take off work to attend the blatant misuse of millions of their tax dollars wasted on the elegant pomp and circumstance paraded down their streets and this glaring discrepancy is simply missed? And applauded? This is centuries-old brainwashing of the finest kind! The mass sheep population here in the U.S. owns no property, barely keeps a beater running and fueled and feed their kids processed food from their weekly entertainment trip to Wally World, but gleefully trade their smart phone on the annual update plan, keeping them tethered to the ongoing contract for the puppet masters to further brainwash them with them greater access to videos and games, easily distracting them from the increased surveillance and control for which it was actually designed and updated regularly; all completely unnoticed or cared about. Foreign nationals are rapidly replacing the western country’s citizenry, assuring the puppet masters are kept in place and if needed, they have a ready army at hand. The NWO Plan, implemented decades ago, is working splendidly! Soon they’ll convince the “community” that self defense is unnecessary as the government will protect them and provide all they need and desire; “you’ll own nothing and be happy”, eating whatever the government lab puts out because it’s cheaper, and shipped right to your door, FREE, via the latest online delivery service, leaving you more time and digital credits for more games and porn! The continuous push for “health protection”, via more “vaccines” to protect you from ever-increasing, more dangerous, lab-developed pathogens, will kill off even more of the useless eaters, with the entire scamdemic a bygone, unmentioned, unaccounted for period, best forgotten. For those of us who still think for ourselves, object and do not comply, we’ve already been located and marked, and will have “Sudden Death by Accidents” (now an accepted end) or will simply be locked out of the new system. We’ll be shunned by the sheep for “not caring about the greater good” and will have to move off grid, into like-minded tribes, shut out and shut down by our own electronics until the last, critically thinking generation dies off, leaving the Communists in full control. Mission accomplished!
You said it all!! That's about it in a nutshell. Really makes you not want to wake up in the morning...
The scary part, at least to me, is that for some reason the human psyche has a propensity to fall in line with this sort of manipulation. It is the Achilles Heel of the human psyche. The psyche does not seem to think it is capable of surviving through independent thought...maybe humans DO need other humans in community to survive, but why does it seem that humans need to be subservient to a "larger power" and to act as serfs and slaves? What is that about?
Exactly! They don't care for one second about those of us who they would prefer to see evaporate from the planet. To hear them rattle on about climate change, electric vehicles, diseases, vaccines -- if you were sleepy you would think they care but for those of us wide awake -- it is pure 'taking up air time'. The taking of the land really concerns me (farms, personal property, etc.).
Trust plays into the hands of scoundrels and manipulators. Find a few people you can trust if you can for your spouse and close friends. Trusting anybody else is for fools, and misplaced trust is why we have corrupt, evil leaders. The founders of the U.S. knew this, thank God, and based our constitution on the fact the authorities can never be trusted. That's a timeless truth.
I used to inherently trust people (never collectives!) unless they gave me a reason not to, but since 2020 I trust nobody except a very select few. I've always know that when people form groups/institutions those bodies can never be trusted, but I did believe in the inherent goodness of individuals. Perhaps if we ever found ourselves in a society predicated on individual rights I could feel that way again, but since 2020 and our slide into collectivism -- whether in the form of fascism, Marxism, socialism -- I have become wary of everyone. I don't like feeling this way, but it's not a nice world. And yes, TPTSB (the powers that shouldn't be) hate us and always have, but it was beyond disappointing to realize many of our family, friends and neighbours don't wish us well either.
We can only trust people to the degree their human systems can be trustworthy. In other words, we should not, unless required to, trust anyone with anything too fragile.
In order to love fully, we do have to trust our partners to be true to their word, but even that is dicey. Smart people do stupid things. There is little rationale.
I have come to a place where, unless I MUST, I do not trust anyone with anything that is important. I certainly do not trust government, or doctors, with my health and physical well being. I think you are doomed if you do that...and for the most part everyone at one time agreed with this logic...no one used to, for example, have major life threatening surgery without first getting several opinions. Now we listen to someone we don't know from a hill of beans (Fauci) and think what they say is the word of God.
You hit on a really important point - "I don't like feeling this way". I don't either. Who would? A lot of hard truths I could see, but resisted until I was into my 60s. Most never open their eyes, so kudos to you. COVID has accelerated the awakening of a lot of people, no doubt.
A friend of mine who immigrated here about 2 decades ago from China was telling me that over there, they have such strong control of the masses due to "preservation" that you can't even go to a river, lake, or stream, and fish. Very good read as usual, Todd. This pretty well sums up the difference between us and them.
Kind of reminds me of some of the lyrics from the Pink Floyd song "Us and Them" -
Us (Us, us, us, us, us) and them (Them, them, them, them)
And after all, we're only ordinary men
Black (Black, black, black, black) and blue (Blue, blue, blue, blue)
And who knows which is which and who is who (Is who, is who, is who, is who)
Up (Up, up, up, up, up) and down (Down, down, down, down)
And in the end it's only round and round (round, round, round), and round (round, round, round, round)
Is there a devil or demonic component to all this? Most definitely. Linking as usual @https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/

I am very happy to join my voice with all of you...
Yes, trust is the basis of community.
