She went so quickly, and I’ll never blame anything except the vax. And in answer to your question, no, I never discussed it with her, she was proud to get the vax. It’s overwhelmingly sad.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss...I have been fortunate with this...I have family members who have not missed a jab, are so proud of that fact, and are in perfect health, basically thumbing their nose at me. I pray every day that their "luck" continues...

Great article, as usual... You mention that some would argue that it is just our nature to resist; but no, it is not in my nature to resist. Actually, in the past, I would chose precisely not to resist, if whatever "they" did was not a big deal. But this time it was a big deal for me. I have posted before about all the absurdities of the "covid pandemic", mass testing and RNA "vaccinations", therefore I will not repeat myself.
There are many contradictions and inconsistencies in the way of thinking of conventional medicine. If you go to an Emergency Room with belly ache shortly afer taking some natural herb, the doctor will not hesitate in attributing the cause of the belly ache to the herb, and will even publish a "case report" in JAMA about the dangers of taking "natural products" not regulated by the FDA. But if you go to the ER with a stroke right after receiving a covid shot, the doctor will say: "Just a coincidence, correlation does not mean causation". I say: Pick a lane. It is either one way or the other.

I also never resisted...just figured the authorities knew what they were doing...sometimes I would resist doing what I was told only because it seemed stupid, or over the top to me...mostly when I was a kid. I think that is when my "critical thinking" was first planted.
Your story about doctors is right on. I often wonder if they respond that way because they are afraid...knowing if they suddenly flipped 180, they would have to admit they were wrong from day one, and that would be horrific. It is like someone who has invested in a stock they believe in, and then it starts going down...that can't sell it and face the fact they were wrong.

Good for you. Did you tell your friends to avoid the shot to begin with? I have heard stories of people getting sick, realizing the shot caused their illness (or suspected it) and then yelling at their friend or family member who originally warned them, "well! are you happy now???!!!"

Your words bring much needed clarity to my inner struggles, but they offer so much more than that. Knowing I am not alone in this 'nightmare of knowing' is enough to keep me sane (I hope!).

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that Todd...!! I am always pitching your substack and doing whatever I can to share it. I will double up my efforts! I get incredibly frustrated with those who admire your writing and get so much out of it, and yet feel that somehow it should be 'free'. Nothing is 'free'. Why they don't get that I will never understand.
I used to do that...but stopped for some reason...I will start again...it is a bit of a pain in the butt to put the graphic and link after every article...but that's no excuse.
I also wish there was a way to pay for each article alone. I think some people would do that...but you have to pay for the whole year...or month to month...
I have a sadness going on on yet another aspect of this debacle. I have a friend who kept her job with the U of T by sacrificing her health to the jabs. And she has been aware of an infiltrating influx of foreign agents installing, monitoring and she thinks deploying 5G Plus radiation type weapons, something like the discombobulators just displayed by the US troops in Venezuela. However when she cries out for help, what shall I do what shall I do? she can't hear an answer, because it requires that she get off her butt, find other people to start building up some kind of an actual alternative way of living, maybe erecting faraday cages around her living place, or even, God forbid, moving to Florida. I see this intelligent, humor-filled perceptive woman so filled with horror and micro clots (as evidenced by a D-dimer that was off the scales 3 years ago when I suggested she get it tested, but nothing has been done, of course) that she is incapable of helping herself and can only weep and moan and kvetch and bitch about what has been done to her. It's heartbreaking.
Can't say much here except maybe your friend needs to find God. I don't mean that flippantly. God can come to people in a variety of ways...peace through meditation, awareness of the cosmic reality of the universe through acceptance, even education, through reading, studying, and making an effort to see the bigger picture. And through animals..dogs, cats, even ferrets!!
When we stay in victim mode, all of our energy and focus go to preserving the physical body...which is indeed important, but it simply is not the end all. On a more pragmatic level, she should volunteer...help the homeless, the less fortunate, expand her focus externally and not internally. Put on the mind of Christ, which of course is love.
It is so easy to get caught up in fear...God bless her...and you too for being concerned.

As an aside, I was speaking to a doctor (in a hospital setting, an unvaxed friend needs heart surgery and wants unvaccinated blood) and we were being treated like pariah. When I began questioning all vaccines I was told I am in a cult. What a world we live in!!
Todd, your writing of late has taken on a whole new wonderful dimension.
Many people just merrily carry on with their lives and either justify the many deaths and diseases or just ignore it as if it is all normal. Yes, people did get cancer and die also of heart attacks before the con job of 2020 but to this degree - NO. When I saw the ad that children can have strokes too, that was proof for me that children were having them and public health making it all seem 'normal'. What evil doers we have.
Every article you write shows a great writing talent, and are a pleasure to read, but this one in particular has so many beautiful turns of phrase.
I used to provoke, but now I just smile and marvel at their stupidity. I have a friend who is constantly telling me about everyone she knows who are sick and dying. I mentioned that "some people think it's the vaccines", thus sheilding myself from ridicule. She said she has never heard anything about that, and the reason that everybody is sick is because we are all older. The willful blindness is an iron cage, and it is sad to know that they will never escape.

Yes, I have had the same experience...with people who have "never heard of the vaccine causing problems"...goes to show you how little exposure some people have to actual real information. They may not agree with it, but they definitely should hear or read it...SOMEWHERE
Gwaihir, the other one I hear people say is "people didn't get to see their doctors in the early days of covid", so therefore now they have such and such disease. It is hard for me to wrap my head around people's gullibility and stupidity. That is when I want to say stop watching mainstream news and read Substack and when I have suggested some authors on substack, they have a glazed look in their eyes when they say, "I have never heard of that". And have no intention of finding out either. :(
