In a word: Brilliant. In a sentence: Desmet answers compelling questions that we have been asking since day one of this Covid fiasco, and some of us asking quite a bit before that. No one else has, in my opinion, come close to fulfilling this task. Let me start with a quote directly from the horse’s mouth:

It sort of corroborates my great concerns re the WEF's 4 Industrial Revolution which relies on our need to stay hooked on our technology and our increasing inability to even go for a walk, or get groceries without our phone in our purse or in our hands. According folks like Elon Musk, we are ALREADY cyborgs, just based on our absolute need to stay connected to our devices and our tech. And this furthers what Desmet appears to be writing about - the brainwashing/mind control element of this technology. I would also suggest as a possible solution, to educate people about the very real dangers of the technology we rely on so completely, and to start encouraging physical gatherings at the local level - street dances, fairs and markets (start learning to trade for goods and services), picnics and potlucks - to minimize our screen time and get back into the joy of living in actual physical community, rather than our online, increasingly virtual reality...
