All true.

At least with the insane or demented, it’s a kindness that doesn’t take anything from us other than patience and time. When my cousin gets her meds messed up and she’s toxic, they put her in the hospital and stop the psych meds and let her clear before restarting at appropriate dosages. Those are times when she sees her best friend on television and her daughter in a window on another wing. It takes no effort to smile and say, “Oh?” when she tells me.

These days, with the people I care about, having to keep my mouth shut about the things they choose to believe or ignore seems to take more than that-a part of me hurts and I’m not sure what it is.

Mental illness really is more often than not assessed in a way that is not fair nor useful. In our culture we have established a "norm" which is not based on anything other than a subjective set of criteria. However, there ARE mental illnesses that are assessed based on brain chemistry as well as a physiological assessment of the material functioning of the brain itself.

If this functioning is purposefully affected by injections or other toxic chemicals, then we can say that it is an objection non functionality and needs to be dealt with in a different manner...primarily with the intention of repairing the damage.

The hard part is knowing whether there actually is objective damage or not.

My cousin wears her diagnoses with pride. All of them. It’s much easier than admitting you’re a difficult person and that it was easier for your family to medicate you than insist you learn some self-control and compassion.

After all these years on strong psych drugs, I don’t know if she could find herself if weaned. It’s sad.

Yes, I remember that time too...I have another article titled "Shut the &#*$& Up!" that deals with what you describe a bit...there was a time, where even though we may have been a bit eccentric for being off the beaten path, what we had to say was thought of as intriguing and mysterious (at worse)...at best, just another viable perspective and interpretation.

I still try, I haven't given up. I've moved to more refined strategies, planting seeds of doubt. As the newest, latest absurdities are presented I will early make note of the absurdity, while it is still thought of as absurd, before it becomes normalized and what had been normal, sane understanding toxified by the mind managers is forgotten. Early interventions. And I'll link the absurdities, help paint a picture of a pattern emerging. Without completing the picture, just help with the rough sketch outline that they can fill in with their own brush and paint.

I find back doors and windows to enter with ideas of sane defiance; their front doors are welded tight.

That sounds good. It really is a tiny bit easier to instill doubt due to all of the obviously messed up crap going on in the world right now...the farmers being oppressed by world wide governments for one. War everywhere, immigration insanity...on and on.

I wrote an article coming out by the end of the month that specifically is aimed at sheep called "Why Not?" asking, "why can't you even consider that something very wrong is going on out there."

That said, your train track example reminds me of a VR sample program I once experienced. As I was wearing the goggles (standing up) the VR scene ran through a series of simulated environments, like flying, driving, skiing, walking in a city, etc. And then it came to a peaceful, serene scene in a mountain valley, pasture. Birds chirping, sounds of nature. Then a train whistle sounded far off in the distance. Time passed peacefully. Then the train whistled again, this time a bit closer. A small puff of smoke appeared above a ridge line in the distance. Back to peaceful nature experience. Then the whistle was louder, and a train became visible rounding a bend a few ridge lines away. Louder, louder, train disappeared but it was nearing. Then I heard it loudly behind me. I turned my body (VR goggles sensed my movement) and saw the train coming right towards me. That's when I noticed the railroad tracks I was standing on. I tried to move off the tracks to no avail, the program wouldn't let me. As it became apparent I would be run over at the last moment my chest heaved forward and I stood tall and defiantly making my face mimic a Braveheart roar face in my final act of resistance before I would be flattened had the train been real. As if my puffed chest and firmly planted legs could stop a speeding locomotive head on. The scene went dark and then transitioned to another.

That's where I gained an insight about the power of VR technology to evoke a powerful physiological response. Including fight, flight or freeze. VR technology can literally stop a heart. And I'm certain could cause harm in those with weak hearts or other conditions their minds could manifest the reality of the programmer. Up to and including death.

I've never worn VR technology again. There's a whole lot of trust involved in turning one's mind and body over to an unknown programmer. Technology I have no doubt will be misused and abused by the powers that be. Combined with other sensory devices like frequency harmonics, scent, etc a Matrix-like simulated reality becomes possible. Along with manipulating the user's mind to stop their body's functioning.

Maybe it makes me sound crazy to imagine that. But I know first hand how it's possible. And that futile feeling of not being able to jump off the train tracks to avoid certain death. Had there been others I'm sure I'd have tried to save them, too, at least tried to push them to safety. Until we realized there'd be no escape. But my constitution is to fight to the end. And stand tall in defiance, knowing my end was imminent. Others may react differently. But I know thyself. And will stand in my power. Until my last breath. Trying to help save who I can and inspire others to do the same.

Right! Obviously if I thought it would kill me I would've. But I knew it was VR, so I wasn't going to throw them off my head afraid of a few pixels and sounds.

And therein lies the trap. If/when programmers with the worst intentions insert programs that can actually harm the user won't try to protect themselves like they would in a physical world threat environment. With defenses disengaged we'd become sheep led to their slaughter.

And that’s what I was wondering. If the experience is so intense that the person’s physical reaction causes the heart to stop or they have a stroke, and if there’s no instinct to remove yourself from the danger when you see it coming, that means the self-defense mechanism in the brain has been disabled.

So if part of the plan is to let you believe that it won’t harm you because it’s just VR, you would feel safe and not remove the goggles. Which is what you did

Yep. That's why I've never put them on again. I've tried to warn some of the younger people I'm friends with who think it's no big deal, I'm just an old guy, afraid of a little new technology. They don't want to hear it.

I understand the appeal. There's an adrenaline rush, it's much like skydiving or BASE jumping, but without the physical risk. I can see how it can actually be a safe substitute for truly hazardous exhilarating endeavors that drive many people. I've indulged in many hazardous, exhilarating endeavors, so I get it, though I've not made it a lifestyle like some do.

But that's where the trust in the programmer becomes paramount. It's almost like one of those futuristic movies where the dealer has black market programs that have removed the safety barriers on the immersive VR tech, all risk assumed by the user. Not unlike drug dealers. That's a known risk the buyer is accepting, just as with drugs. But what if the bad faith dealer is the government? With a eugenics agenda, like we know many in powerful positions today have.

It's complicated. It should be much more thought out than mere entertainment. I don't have the solution. I choose to not play, forgoing what could be a whole lot of safe fun. Enjoying my adrenaline rush's the old fashioned way, in real life. I actually feel safer.I like my self-defense mechanism in my brain enabled.

Keep my trap shut or suffer the consequences? Like so many, early on, I was ostracized, called every name in the book, shunned, and eventually was forced to remove myself or I was forced out of my tribe… those I loved the most. I lost life long friends and family members one by one. But I held onto my beliefs even through the loneliness and isolation.

I cannot and will not be silent. I have nothing left to lose. My hope is when the truth comes out they’ll see I came from love and was only trying to protect them. Will I remind my only sister (5 boosters) when she relentlessly complains about her debilitating health issues that I tried to warn her? No. It won’t do any good now. Will I offer simple homeopathic remedies for each individual ailment? Yes. Will she listen? Probably not. But I’ll continue to try.

I used to be the one who would go along to get along. That option went out the window 4 yrs ago. The amazing thing is, I found out just how strong I am by the storm I have weathered.

My conscience is clear.

Thank you, Todd, for another wonderful article that echoes my opinions, and thanks also for all the comments included here. I enjoy reading the comments just as much as your articles. My experiences are pretty much the same as those detailed here except for one difference: I’m finding that several in my circle who have not gotten the jab have moved on (? Is that the correct way to put it?) and are not interested in talking about it anymore. People who were once just as infatuated with being vindicated that their suspicions were correct now say they are “so done” with Covid and the jab that they just want to “get back to things being normal” that they don’t care to read or see anything more about the subject. I find this attitude astonishing because for me there is no going back to “things being normal.” The betrayal by our authorities is too outrageous and they all need to be held accountable. Has anyone else experienced this? Are some shrews slowly being turned into sheep?

Thank you...and yes, one of the greatest things about being a shrew on ShrewViews are the comments and the community!!

I hear you regarding the folks "moving on." I suspect that a lot of these people were never all that informed about what is going on in the world on a broader scale. They saw through the "plandemic" enough to avoid the shots and all of the bull, but they really never cared about all the rest...the Covid situation being only one move in the bigger picture. Once Covid itself "seems" over, they are ready to return to their "soon-to-be serfdom" lives...

I suspect there are many of those out there...as it is very tempting to stay in denial that if you can't feel the heat of the wolf's breath as it snaps at you, then the wolf isn't there. Trust me, it is there alright, and soon to sink its teeth into all of us.

It is hard to tell when this circus gets rolling again. It has indeed never stopped rolling under the surface, but it is soon to make itself very much known again...maybe Disease X? Maybe an upsurge of Covid? (I for one am a follower of Geert Vanden Bossche and don't think Covid is over...

Anyway...you are not alone. We are all just waiting for it all to be back in full swing...although that may in fact be a while...it all depends on what the agenda thinks it can accomplish without too much ado....CBDCs, Digital ID, Smart Cities, etc. etc.

Just started reading this book..... Heretic's Manifesto by Brendan O'Neill

"Can a woman have a penis? Is the West forever stained by racism? Are we all going to die from climate change? To the liberal establishment of London, New York or Sydney, the answer to all of these questions is ‘Yes’. And anyone who disagrees is a racist, climate-denying transphobe."

Our elites have become convinced of some very strange and extreme ideas. And yet there is precious little pushback against them. Critics are cowed by the threat of shaming, cancellation, even arrest. The new orthodoxies of our age are risible, and yet the space for dissent is shrinking.

We need more heretics. Throughout history, it has been those brave enough to puncture the prevailing groupthink who have propelled society forward. But they are in shockingly short supply today. In this collection of original essays, Brendan O’Neill remakes the case for heresy – and commits a few heresies of his own along the way."

I have to thank Justin Trudeau. Had it not been for his incompetence in securing vaccines for Canada, I would not have been blessed with the time to read about the heart attacks and stokes as they spread throughout the faithful in Europe.

Thanks to Justin, I watched as the US banned Astra Zeneca from use, only to have him purchase the remaining stock for Canada.

As I waited, I got news of a cousin in Europe getting a blood clot, my associate in the US suffered lost vision in one eye and was hospitalized with Guillain–Barré syndrome..

I read the story of Eric Clapton's suffering severe side effects...

I tried warning people, but they rushed, ran and then bragged about getting thier doses. This as Canada announced it would still use Astra Zeneca even though it had been banned and the stock of vials purchased had expired..

They were insane? More like possessed...

Well done Todd, you have have just meticulously documented my last 4 years. Though I now take a different tack. Now I just say something like "I'm not vaccinated, infact I steer clear of all pharmaceutical products and that includes paracetamol and vitamins" or "They can't scientifically prove that contagion is a thing". I then refuse to discuss it with them and tell them that they wont like what I have to say and tired of repeating myself. This, I am finding, is far more effective. They end up pressing me with questions and they are far more likely to listen after that.

I have to tell this story, as your comment reminds me of it. And yes, your attitude is definitely the one to have...here is the story.

Hank Mancini, composer and songwriter extraordinaire of a generation ago, was checking out a new lyricist who the producer of a movie he was working on insisted he use. One thing all budding lyricists MUST have is a list of song titles, not necessarily the full-blown lyric, but at least a long list of TITLES just in case they are thrown onto a project about such and such they could look through their list to see where a good start for a song might lie.

So Hank takes this young nube into his music studio and sits at the piano with the would-be lyricist by his side, "So, let's see your list of song titles, lad." The young man looks at him with a puzzled look, "What? What do you mean?" Hank retorts, "You know, song titles, what title of a song, the subject of the song for this project, do you have in mind?" The lyricist shakes his head, "I have no list of song titles..."

Hank thinks for a moment, realizing he is being asked to work with someone who does not know the first thing about writing a song's lyrics. Because of him not having a few pages of titles in his hand, indicates to the master songwriter that there is simply no point in pursuing this creative endeavor—he would have to teach him everything he knows, and then some.

Hank liked the guy and figured he had a lot to learn, but he wasn't going to spend time trying to teach him stuff that would take years to convey. He put his pencil down, turned to the young man, and said, "Do you play tennis?"

***

That's a true story, heard it from Hank himself....

There is no point in trying to teach a pig to sing. It is a waste of time, and it annoys the pig.

There is just WAY too much we know to have come to the conclusions we have come to. If someone does not already know all of this and is belligerent, arrogant, and ignorant, then it is best to just play tennis and avoid the whole matter.
