Fiction and reality are mixed up. Truman Show, Dark City, Matrix are works of fiction, a human imagination but some of the flat earth truthers taking them almost literary.
I do think that is an issue as well. Again, I do not know enough about what the Flat Earther's claim as evidence. I do believe in the material world there are physical laws that must be adhered to. If those laws are broken, which they often are, then whatever is breaking them no longer can be identified as a "material" thing. If there is a "crossover" (appears material, but really is not, like a ghost for example) that is when there is a lot of demand to "investigate"...
I think a flat earth falls into the material world, or at least its "claim" does (no flat earther I know of says it is otherwise, i.e., "the earth is flat because it is really just a ghost image in the spiritual realm") So their evidence to prove a material thing must also be material and fit into the physical laws of materiality. (I know, I know, there is an argument there as well when you get into quantum mechanics, I am just trying to keep it simple!!)
I think most Flat Earthers believe they can present physical evidence to physically prove their position. Great. I am just admitting I have not myself looked into that to be satisfied either way...
Talking about the flat earth thing. I asked myself what is this evil that took over this realm. And any, deeper look leads to flat earth people. How bizarre. is the powers that be doing it to put off those who are asking the same questions-- where this evil is coming from.
I do think the flat earth "argument" is being used by the "evil doers" as a tool to ridicule and denigrate "critical thinkers" and "open minded" individuals. There is just too much emphasis put on this idea for it to be arbitrary. Why not pick on "intelligent design" "anti evolution" nutjobs? Well, I am sure that is one in the wings, they have used it before.
It may seem on Jerm that I am a Flat Earther...I am not. But I do not believe they should be silenced just because their ideas don't fit into the mainstream. I do not publically announce whether I "believe" in flat earth or not because I don't know enough about it. So I will not take an official stance. I think if we get into a shit throwing stance on it then we are just playing into its use by the powers that be.
I truly believe that no people should be silenced for their views. But those who express their views should understand that there are opposing views to their views.
At the same time I suspect that "deep state" operators work hard to discredit any opposing view that goes against the status quo of the establishment.
