Regularly check in with a friend regarding our level of despondency and have been seeing any patient who wishes IN PERSON WITHOUT MASKS since the 1st lockdown lifted in Ontario (Jan 2021?). However, I have not seen several of my patients since March 2020. All work done remotely..I would say those are the ones who are “institutionalized” and I’m pretty sure I will never see them again even though we may continue our work together for a long time!

I am not sure if I have a good handle on the "sheep" and their experience of this "institutionalization" I speak of here. Clearly they too are suffering from the authoritarian pressure, but I think in some different ways. Many of them are frightened, which is certainly a form of suffering, but many of them seem to be in total denial. The consequence I write about in this article does not seem to apply to them, since they like to think everything is just fine. Their suffering will likely come down the road when they realize, at long last, their entire world fell apart. Mark my words, though, they will not put blame where it is due, they will believe any bad outcome they experience to be the fault of the virus, the unvaccinated, and the Russians.
