I prefer reading. It takes me 5 minutes to read something that takes 15 to listen... But that is my preference. If enough people prefer audio, and you have the time to do it... I would say do both.

If I got more paid subscriptions I would make the time to do it! Sorry for everything to be so money focused, but as they say "time is money"...I am so grateful for everyone here who has eked out the bucks for a subscription...it is SO appreciated...I know what that feels like...I pay for a lot of substacks myself...

Hello, Doctor . I definitely prefer audio. Note that the app already translates text to audio with built in functionality, which works well for me.

Never thought of that (that you can translate to audio) but I would hope me actually reading it would be better!

I would love audio, I've heard you whenever you're on Jerm and your voice is great

Oh thank you...very kind. I used to really hate my voice...now I've gotten used to it. I love doing Jerm's show.

I think the audio version would be a marvelous addition.

I also like listening when quilting...it’s nice to not have to choose, and miss topics of discussion.

Great idea... I listen to Substacks while walking and doing the mundane necessities such as house work!

I prefer reading also but wouldn't mind having an audio option.

I like to read. I don’t have the time to listen to everything and I can read faster than the normal talker. Also reading allows me to go back and re-read something if my mind wanders whereas rewinding over and over is not always possible.

I WOULD still have the written article...just would be ADDING the audio version...

Thank you. I should have gone back and re-read, eh? 🤪

No...I did not make it clear...

Not my thing, I prefer reading.

I'm not sure if it attracts more people for the effort expended.

Yeah, its not really my thing either, although I do listen to a lot of books, and can find it to be convenient in some situations...
