I have had or overheard a couple of conversations this week that have struck me as odd. The first I’ll bring up here is one I overheard in line at a busy supermarket. The masked checkout girl was speaking to a masked customer as he paid for his groceries; they were in the middle of a conversation obviously about the vaccines, “Yeah! I’ve had all three that have been available, and am anxious to get a fourth!” said the customer. I was not even aware the fourth jab was available yet, although I had heard it was coming. I guess that stands to reason as if it were available I’m sure this guy would be blabbing how proud he was to be stuck four times.
I wanted to step into the conversation with a “whaaa???” but I held myself back, although if it wasn’t so noisy in there you probably could have easily heard my uncontrollable gasp. What in the hell? Oh well, I suppose that is to be expected in a blind world—but why so blind? I simply cannot accept that all of these people have gone utterly insane. I understand the “mass formation” theory, and I understand being obsessed with “we are all in this together” propaganda influence, but this guy sounded like he was proudly proclaiming he had won the lottery three times and he was certain to win a fourth million as soon as he could buy the ticket.
