Writing any article that even hints of criticism toward the LGBTQ2S+ community is risky business these days. I venture into this task with trepidation, but feel, as I do with all of my articles, there are important things to be said here. However, I would like to reiterate that this is my personal opinion, and please read it with that in mind. I am not, by any means, an expert on this topic, neither socially or politically. I am just a rube with an opinion and this is my soapbox.
It seems that the perpetrators of any nefarious “wrong doing” are not in these LGBTQ2S+ communities, but rather they stand behind them and use them as a shield, knowing the only way to get to the greater masses is through the innocents. Of course we have seen, and continue to see, the same cowardly stance with the BLM nonsense—thus the trepidation in writing about such topics. I have nothing intrinsically against any sort of sexual orientation that drifts from the center of the bell curve as long as it doesn’t prey on innocent beings. I do think there is room for a diagnosis of pathology on the extreme ends of sexual issues (all of them), just as there is room for a pathological perception on any extreme human behaviour. But this is not the topic of this article.
