I watched a Bill Maher “New Rules” bit the other day (link here) and he compared the Woke/Cancel “revolution” with Mao Zedong’s “Cultural Revolution” of the late 1960s. You know, sometimes I think Maher is turning into a shrew . . . well, only sometimes.

The Woke folks are similar to Mao’s “Red Guard” . . . ya, think? I have been comparing this current, modern woke/cancel culture with the Chinese Cultural Revolution since day one—and I am sure many others have as well. It is a no brainer. The only thing missing today is the massive militant support for the revolution that occurred in China, as well as the extreme public humiliation and mass murders for those not going along with the “popular kids.” And yes, the movement was mostly executed by kids. We have not seen any of that horror . . . yet.
